Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how Atlas Compliance Inc ("Atlas," "we," "our," or "us") accepts payment for orders placed on atlas-itin.com. Read this together with our Terms of Service and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Atlas Compliance Inc is a service facilitation company and is not a Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA), a government agency, or affiliated with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

1. Service Tiers and Prices

We offer two tiers:

  • Standard — $499 USD. Includes Atlas + CAA preparation and submission to the IRS in 7 to 10 business days, complete W-7 preparation and review, CAA partner verification, secure digital document handling, email status updates, and no passport mailing.
  • Priority — $599 USD. Everything in Standard, plus expedited Atlas + CAA preparation and submission to the IRS in 1 to 3 business days, priority CAA review, dedicated handling, and priority support.

Tier-timeline disclaimer. The 7–10-business-day Standard timeline and the 1–3-business-day Priority timeline cover Atlas and CAA preparation and submission to the IRS only. They do not include IRS processing. IRS processing time is approximately 6 to 12 weeks after submission and is outside our control.

There are no add-on services available at this time. The consumer price includes the CAA, document-handling, and shipping costs incurred for your order.

2. Currency

All prices are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD). If you pay with a non-USD card, your card issuer or bank will apply its currency-conversion rate; we do not control that rate.

3. Accepted Payment Methods

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.:

  • Live today: credit and debit cards (major networks supported by Stripe).
  • Planned: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe Link, and ACH bank transfer (USD).

When we add a new payment method, we will update this Policy.

4. When You Are Charged

We charge your payment method in full at the time you place your order. This is a one-time payment, not a subscription. There is no automatic renewal.

5. Receipts

A receipt is emailed automatically on successful payment. If you do not receive a receipt, check your spam folder, then contact hello@atlas-itin.com.

6. Taxes

Based on our working analysis, Florida sales tax is not currently applied to our facilitation services because we treat them as professional services. If a tax authority later determines that tax applies, we will collect and remit as required by law. Where a foreign tax (for example, Brazil ISS or EU VAT) is required to be collected from end-customers in a particular jurisdiction by reason of our activity there, we will update this Policy and our checkout flow.

7. Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment fails or is declined, you may retry through the checkout. We may suspend processing or close an order where payment cannot be successfully collected within a reasonable time.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer, we will cooperate with Stripe's dispute process and provide records of your order, your acceptance of the Terms of Service, and service delivery. See Section 6 of our Refund and Cancellation Policy for more.

9. PCI Compliance and Card Data Storage

We use Stripe Checkout / Stripe Elements / Stripe-hosted payment forms, which means full card numbers are submitted directly to Stripe and never pass through our servers. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 service provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. We may store a payment-method token (a non-sensitive reference) and limited transaction metadata (such as last four digits, brand, and authorization status) for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.

10. No Credit-Card Surcharges

We do not impose a surcharge for the use of a credit card. Pricing on the Site is the price you pay regardless of payment-card brand.

11. Currency-Conversion Fees and Foreign-Transaction Fees

Some banks and card issuers charge currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees when you pay in USD from a non-USD account. Those fees are charged by your issuer, not by us. Contact your issuer for details.

12. Refunds

Refund availability is governed by the milestone matrix in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days of approval.

13. Cross-References to Stripe Terms

Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy, available at stripe.com/legal. Stripe is an independent processor; their relationship with you is governed by their own agreements.

14. EFT and ACH Authorization (When Live)

If you authorize an ACH payment in the future when we enable that method, you will be presented with an authorization screen and disclosures consistent with the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. §1693 et seq.

15. Fraud Prevention

We may decline an order, request additional verification, or close an order if we reasonably suspect payment fraud, identity fraud, or violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.

16. Updates

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
